Describe yourself in three words.

Grateful.

Hopeful.

Learning.

What do you love about your church and community?

I love that Cities Church has allowed itself to be the incubator of a vision that has the future of our nation in mind. I love that our church has embraced the challenge to believe that God can use a church in a small city – that being small-town doesn’t mean being small-time!

What superhero do you most relate to and why?

My favourite superhero growing up was Spiderman. I may have identified with him the most because he was the first superhero I remember being acquainted with.  But now, I would say I am most interested in the story of Superman. To me, his whole story is about identity. And forming identity is one of the areas I am most passionate about.

What is a dream you have in your heart that you still haven’t seen fulfilled?

I have a dream to be part of a team that creates a feature film! I hope to have the opportunity to be part of creating a movie that is seen by audiences all over the world.

How would you describe your hopes and desires for your life and/or a testimony of God’s faithfulness in your life?

In my imagination, there is a secret room in heaven where pioneers of the faith have clandestine gatherings, and only those who shook the world are allowed in: Aimee Semple McPherson, John Wesley, Billy Graham, etc. My hope is to do enough, sacrifice enough, and serve enough to make it into that room.

What advice would you go back and give yourself 15 years ago? Why?

I would advise my younger self to continue reading, continue praying and to allow myself time to grow.

What makes you so interesting and unique?

This is a difficult question! I don’t know have if I have an answer for this, but I am undefeated in the board game “Settlers of Catan.”
