What do you love about your church and community?
GT is a vibrant multi-site church with 98 years of history. I love our story of faith, the miracles that birthed a movement, and our church planting DNA.
What superhero do you most relate to and why?
Batman- I’m just an ordinary guy with a few tricks up my sleeve.
What is a dream you have in your heart that you still haven’t seen fulfilled?
We live on Vancouver Island with a population 800,000. Our intention is to place a life-giving church in reach of every person on Vancouver Island. We believe this will take 10 strategic locations, one church for every 80,000 people. Currently we have three campuses and a fourth to come in the fall.
How would you describe your hopes and desires for your life and/or a testimony of God’s faithfulness in your life?
I just want to see those around me go further faster. I want to be a hero maker.
What advice would you go back and give yourself 15 years ago? Why?
The way you feel today is not the way you will feel in a week.
What is your funniest parenting story?
The time we sat down at our favourite sushi joint and my three year old said… “I don’t mean to be rude, but does everyone in here speak Mexican?”
What makes you so interesting and unique?
I live on an island in the pacific.
